  Hoppy short proof converter

  This is a splice it yourself kit, you have to know which wires to splice into, so you'll need to know your wiring harness. Install was easy for me because I was replacing a burned out converter that was plug and play. The wires on the old converter were marked, so I just wired right up to those. The directions suck (hence 4 stars instead of 5) The hardest part is getting a feed up to the battery, as this has it's own VBATT circuit to prevent burning out your car's lighting circuits. Just takes some time working your way along the floor trim and finding a hole in the firewall. I've had too many problems with shorts on trailers taking out cheapo converters, so I figured it was worth the extra dough. So far, I'm satisfied.   Works well so far, but not a fan of the changes

  Product works as described so far. My only complaint is that the old versions had a connector on the side that you plugged in the trailer extension harness, which was a flat 4-wire cable. This version has no connector on the unit, just a couple feet of 4 individual wires terminating in the 4 pin trailer plug. I understand that it's cheaper to manufacture this way, but it just looks cheesy, and now instead of the nice 4 wire flat cable I have 4 individual wires that I had to wire tie every 4 inches to keep under control exiting the vehicle.I would happily paid the extra dollar to have the decent cable with a connector on both ends. 4/5 subdude (south central pa) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)   Trailer Wiring made easy

  This is the unit that you want. I had to replace the trailer adapter that came with our Subaru Forester. The lights on the trailer were acting really strange. It seems that when one of the tail lights burned out it took the electrical adapter with it. The Hopkins 46365 is short proof, was easy to install, and works great.   Very satisfied, easy to use

  I put these on my minivan (2003 Honda Odyssey) and drove on mixed surfaces (snow-covered, icy, slushy & pavement) in Yosemite National Park. I've tried several types of snow chains prior to these -- straight cables, Z-cables, GoClaws -- I found this pair to the most durable. The other types/brands tended to give out when driven on pavement, or they rusted out after a couple of uses.These chains were also the easiest to install, thanks to the stiffened inner ring that you just push behind the wheel -- you don't need to hug the wet, muddy tire to reach around to look for the other end of the chain because all the linkages are designed to connect on the outer side of the wheel, and you can install the chains without moving the vehicle. The uninstallation instructions say you need to stop and align the wheel perfectly, but this doesn't always work because I'd usually have a portion of the chain pinched under the wheel.   Easy Installation, Easy Removal

  I've had other quick install chains before, but these are by far the best quality and easiest set that i've had to put on before. They fit true to size for my 16-inch tires on my Toyota Camry. These appear to self center well, and tighten up even more as you drive with them on.The first time i put them on, I got out of my car a half-mile down the road to check on the fit. They had snugged up even tighter and I was good to go. They have a quick-release mechanism that quickly gets them off the wheel.Freak rare snowstorm in Seattle, and everyone is instantly sold out of chains locally.   BEST EVER!

  I have to admit, I've never driven in the snow before. Once I got to the part of the hill where chains were required I noticed someone putting the traditional chains on their tires and it seemed they had been there for a while. I then took out mine, my wife and I each did one tire. I think it took us about 3 minutes combined and we were done. Since it was our first time, we practiced at home before we went on our trip.When we left, people were still working on theirs.These chains never got unfastened.   Best replacement bulb for OEM

  I purchased these to replace my OEM H11 halogens on my 09 Subaru Forester. These lights are truly white and are a vast improvement over the OEM yellowish lights. I now see the whole road clearly and can also see further down the road. The lights have an even beam and have a slight hint of blue which does give it that HID look. After considering the HID conversion, I found that converting would also mean getting the correct HID projector in order for the HID bulb to reflect the light evenly and correct. Too much money to convert to HID the right way. This is the best option and it really enhances the look of the headlight.   The bulb colour is approximately the advertised 4000K. It's certainly not that bright HID white; you'll want to go to the Diamondvision 5000K bulbs for that. Still, if you want a nice, natural 4000K bulb, this is a good buy. The price is right, and they haven't failed in the 2 months I've had them. Hardly an indication of how long it'll last, but it ought to be better than the Sylvania's. I feel like the throw has increased when I drive at night, and can now clearly see where the left beam is shorter than the right beam (as it should be).   didn't work for me...

  Lock cover mechanism broke- cover fell off, parts bouncing around inside the cap. Lock itself was beyond fussy- had to turn everything just right to function. Threw a P0440 code (evap) on my 2001 Suburban in the second week (cleared the code, replaced my OEM cap, and all is well.)I really wanted this to work, and I thought I was buying the best I could get, but it was a bad deal for me.   Not worth buying

  I bought these for my 2002 Eclipse that I had just put halos in. The stock bulbs where dim so I opted for these, they shiped quickly enough but the problem I had was they were even worse then the stock,needless to say I removed my halos and these bulbs and went back to jsut the factory headlights. 1/5 R.
